Focus is our annual get together with the whole of the HTB Network of churches that we are a part of. For 360 days of the year, we are a mission station in (Derby, Brighton, Coventry etc) towns, cities, estates all over the country, but for one long weekend in the year we down tools and get together to kick back, refresh, get re-envisioned, re-inspired, re-group, refilled and be sent out to go again.

Focus is really about two things. First, it is our church weekend away, we will have our own church community pitch and the priority is on community, building deeper friendships with one another and also the whole family of our church from the youngest to the oldest. Our hope is that even if you never leave our church pitch you would have an amazing weekend. Second, Focus attaches us individually and us as a church to something which is bigger than ourselves. It’s never a good idea to make our lives with our friends or our congregation about only us, or our church only about us. Whenever we attach ourselves to something that is greater than just ourselves, we grow and expand in God and so through worshipping together, through seminars, through teaching, through inspiration, through being part of something larger we will dream and be re-envisioned for the calling that God has for us as a church and all the conversations that will come out of it.
