We’re so excited for another of our annual away days where we get to come together with everyone from across St.Werburgh’s, St.Francis and St.Ed’s. It’s a fantastic opportunity to encourage one another, worship, pray and learn together.

We’re relaunching Sanctuary, our music night showcasing amazing local and national talent.

Join us for a night of excellent acoustic music from local up and coming artists at the brand new Sanctuary Sessions.

Is there a job that needs doing that you would love to get your hands on and sort out? If so then this is your invitation to come and get stuck in.

Prepare to Preach is a workshop held over two sessions for anyone who is interested in exploring what it might look like to be a preacher.

No sign-up needed, just come. TIME TBC

Join us at our Werb’s Kids Light Party! We’ll be celebrating how Jesus is the Light in the darkness through crafts and games, as well as snacks, bouncy castles, face painting and a mini disco. There’s no charge however please book your child’s place to help with planning.

We are so excited to invite you to our Outdoor Cinema on Friday 8th September in the church garden! Tickets cost £7.50 for adults and £5 for under 18's. This is to cover the cost of the headphone hire, a drink, and some popcorn or candy floss.

After the morning service we will be heading to Darley Park for a picnic. Bring some food and a chair or rug and get to know some of the church family better!

The Gardening team would like to invite you to a full day session to prepare the garden for the summer and carry out some of the tasks they don't have time for during their regular morning session.

An opportunity for all of God’s people – across traditions, generations, and cultures – to gather as one, encounter Jesus, and be filled with the Holy Spirit. We believe in the power of the gospel, through the global church, to change lives and transform the world.

We’d also love to invite you to the Vision and Prayer Lunch on April 2nd at St Werburghs church (12.30pm), where Jeff and Kim will be sharing more of their heart for St Edmunds, Allenton and Shelton Lock.

Newcomers’ Lunches are a great way to meet some of the team as well as others who have joined St Werburgh’s recently. We’ll provide some cake, sandwiches and plenty of drinks as we chat together and get to know each other a bit more. There’ll also be an opportunity to find out the different ways you can get involved and connected here at St Werburghs.

Werb’s Day Away is a great opportunity to come together along with members of our church plant at St Francis Mackworth and spend time learning from and seeking God.. It’s great to spend time with each other building relationships and having fun together. There will be 3 sessions of teaching and some social time. Tickets are priced at £15 for Adults, £10 for students and £5 for children including a buffet lunch. Discounts are available for people willing to offer time to our kids and youth work.

God calls each and every one of us. We are called to be disciples, and in our discipleship we are called to live in relationships-as children, siblings, partners, friends… And we’re called to work and roles- as volunteers, engineers, teachers, carers, florists, accountants, students, plumbers … Some are called to specific ministries- within the church or in the wider community. It’s all about calling. What might God be calling you to?
