Walk Around Carsington Water

This Easter Saturday we’re going to spend time as a community going for a walk around Carsington Water. There are 3 options for you to choose from with the aim of meeting up at the end for a mass church picnic. If you think you might like to attend but will struggle to make your way there then please email alex.dann@stwderby.org so we can try make this event accessible to everybody.

Timings:

The aim is to meet for lunch at approximately 1 p.m. on the grass next to the children’s play area near to the Visitor Centre.

The options are:

The Long Walk - Following the Reservoir Trail for a distance of 7.5 miles/12 km - meeting time 9.30 a.m.

The Short Walk - Following the Dam Trail for a distance of 3 miles/5 km - meeting time 11.15 a.m.

The Picnic - Join us for a BYO Picnic by the children’s play area. There is also a very short trail round Stones Island if you want to arrive a little earlier - meeting time 1 p.m.
