Love Christmas is back for 2025 and we can’t wait to bless our city with 500 bags of kindness!
After the huge success of Love Christmas 2024, we can’t wait to see how God enables us to reach out to those in our neighbourhood who are struggling this year.
Love Christmas is a national campaign run by Re-vitalise Trust which aims to provide bags of kindness to those in need. Take a look at the video to see what difference you could make.
All the activities you can get involved in are listed below.
AMAZON WISHLIST
Our bags of kindness will be filled with Christmas treats and gifts to bring love and laughter to the families and individuals that receive them. We'd love your help to do this and have compiled an Amazon wishlist of the games we'd like to include.
Everything you buy will be delivered straight to us and included in the bags of kindness that we distribute
Deadline for purchasing gifts is Monday 1st December
Decoration Making
Our aim is to include a handmade decoration in each of the bags of kindness we deliver. In order to do this we have arranged two decoration making sessions straight after the 10.30 services on 16th and 23rd November.
No artistic skill required - just some Christmas spirit and a little time. All materials will be provided.
Bag Packing
If you love a production line then this activity is for you. On Monday 8th December 6.00pm - 8.00 pm, and Tuesday 9th December, 10.00 am - 12 noon, we would love help with packing, decorating bags/boxes and making drinks. Grab your Christmas jumper, polish up your best Christmas joke and get ready to join in the fun as we prepare these bags as a message of hope and kindness to families and individuals in Derby.

Holiday Club and Community Meal
We will be running a holiday club for local children (similar to the summer holiday club) on December 22nd & 23rd, with a community meal for those who attend on 23rd. There will be lots of opportunities to volunteer to support this, more information to come!
