Thursday 11th April

Esther 4:14 For if you remain silent at this time, liberation and rescue will arise for the Jews from another place, and you and your father’s house will perish [since you did not help when you had the chance]. And who knows whether you have attained royalty for such a time as this [and for this very purpose]?”

The story of Esther is a beautiful account of how God works in the plans and purposes of our lives. Alongside our ability and freedom to choose and decide, God is there at work placing us where we need to be, putting people in front of us that we need to talk to so that his purposes and plans come to fruition through us.

So where has God placed you today?

Who has God put in your path today?

You have been given this day for more than just your comfort and enjoyment. Maybe you have been placed there in this day for such a time as this? We  are called to be bold, to be brave and to be courageous. Esther had to risk her life in order to ensure that her people were saved. How is God calling us to be brave and take risks today in order that others maybe saved?

The consequences of a kind word or act or stopping to speak to someone about Jesus may have far-reaching consequences that we can’t even imagine!
